This assessment aims to conduct a 2D CFD analysis on a HAWT blade airfoil using ANSYS Fluent. It will compare the numerical results with experimental data. The analysis calculates lift, drag, and moment forces for the ‘NACA 63(4)-221’ blade profile. It does this across a range of angles of attack.

A CFD simulation evaluated various solar panel designs. These designs were at different angles and elevations. They were exposed to a wind speed of 128 mph. It revealed drag results for the lower face of the panels. It compared the drag across different areas within the same design. It also compared the drag among different designs.

A CFD simulation was performed on a Gorlov turbine “vertical wind Turbine” blades at a certain angular speed. The goal was to obtain contours of pressure on the blades. Then these data were used to obtain the structural data. They determined stress, strains, and deformation caused by the pressure on the blades.

We assumed a load of 2 tons was pressing on the middle of the C-beam Results show that: The maximum deformation of 0.18 mm in the middle of the C-beam. The maximum stress applied is about 7*10^7 which is too
small a value for the static yield strength of steel.

We redesigned the structure of Water Bucket to increase its capacity. We applied FEA to ensure that our design is safe. The design includes choosing the same component sources. Lightweighting was done to reduce the weight of the whole system. After that, the shop drawings were exported for manufacturing.
